What we did in the 2024 edition
The 2024 edition of the Atobius Festival - Meetings of Cultures took place in Dolianova from October 14 to 19, 2024 and included a series of events characterized by the involvement of participants in traditional local activities and those linked to local culture.
The festival took place in various locations and businesses throughout the city, spread across the territory. Productive activities, associations, and several professionals working in the field of experiential tourism were involved.
Throughout the event, tourists were able to participate in workshops and activities through which they discovered the cultural heritage of the area in an engaging and memorable way.
The program of the 2024 final evening
Here is what we did during the final evening of the 2024 Festival.
All activities took place in Dolianova in the little square at the corner of Via Roma/Viale Europa.

Here is what we had planned for you in the 2024 edition of our Festival. Many activities were scheduled every day.
What we did in the 2023 edition
The main activities in which visitors could take part were predominantly food and wine related, connected not only to local products such as oil and wine, but also to traditional dishes and artisanal production. It was possible to stay on farms and help farmers and breeders in their daily activities; at the farmhouses, it was possible to cook and then eat typical local dishes, and at the oil mills, olives were harvested and the oil production process was observed.
Within the companies, sensory analyses of wine, oil, and cheese were also offered. Regarding handicrafts, it was possible to try, together with local experts, the production of traditional items such as baskets, carpets, chairs, and mats. It was also possible to participate in Sardinian dance lessons organized by the local folk group. In addition to the experiential events characterizing the festival, guided tours were held to various
monuments and cultural sites.
