Extended information notice on the use of cookies. Effective from 01/06/2026

This cookie policy is provided for the website https://faiculture.it/ (Site). This document has been drafted taking into account the provisions of European Regulation 679/2016 on the protection of personal data (GDPR), the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 no. 196) and the Guidelines of the Data Protection Authority (in particular the Guidelines on the use of cookies issued on 10 July 2021).

What cookies are and what they are used for
A cookie is a text file that a website visited by the user sends to the user’s device (computer, mobile device such as smartphone or tablet), where it is stored and then retransmitted to that website on a subsequent visit to the same site.

- according to the party that installs them, depending on whether it is the same operator of the visited site (so-called "first-party cookies") or a different party (so-called "third-party cookies");
- according to the purpose of each cookie: some cookies allow better browsing by storing certain user choices, for example the language (so-called "technical cookies"); other cookies allow monitoring of the user’s browsing also for the purpose of sending advertising and/or offering services in line with their preferences (so-called "profiling cookies").
Only profiling cookies require the user’s prior consent to their use.
The Data Controller is responsible exclusively for the first-party cookies it installs on the Site.
In the section "First-party technical cookies" you can view the types of first-party technical cookies released by the Site.
The management of profiling cookies is described in the section "Third-party profiling cookies".
In any case, you can enable/disable cookies also through your browser options:

Storage of consent preferences (Retention disclosure)
In the event that profiling cookies are released, the preferences expressed by the user regarding the use of cookies and other tracking tools are stored in order to ensure compliance with the choices made and not to show the consent banner at every access to the site.
In this case:
- the user’s choices are recorded via technical cookies and/or local storage mechanisms (for example localStorage) installed on the user’s device and/or, where provided by the consent management platform (CMP), via server-side storage systems;
- such information is used solely to document the consent given, denied or withdrawn and is not used for further purposes, nor for profiling activities;
- consent preferences are stored for a maximum period of 12 months, after which consent will be requested again from the user, unless the user changes or withdraws it earlier through the functions available on the site.
In the event that profiling cookies are released, the user may at any time change or withdraw their choices by accessing the cookie banner settings.
First-party technical cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be disabled. They are usually set in response to actions taken that constitute a request for services, such as setting cookie preferences, logging in or filling in forms, browsing preferences.
- The Site also releases cookies that document your consent to the release of profiling cookies and the related preferences. These cookies recognize you on your second access to the Site so as not to request consent again for the installation of profiling cookies.
- The Site releases browsing or session cookies that ensure normal browsing and normal use of the Site.
Third-party profiling cookies
The Site does not release profiling, advertising or statistical cookies.
Your rights
Pursuant to Art. 13 of the GDPR, the Data Controller informs you that you have the right to:
- ask the Data Controller for access to your personal data and for their rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing concerning you, or to object to their processing, as well as the right to data portability
- withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before withdrawal
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., the Data Protection Authority).
The above rights may be exercised by sending an informal request to the contacts indicated in the Premise.
Data disclosure
- The Data Controller does not disclose to third parties the information deriving from the use of cookies.
Storage of information
- Data from technical cookies are stored for the time necessary to provide the service to which each individual technical cookie refers.
